what a busy day i had in the office to deal with idiots and those "stupid stupid acts pandai pandai" and i really got myself into a law sue case. oh ya, yes i did, nearly.

sometimes i really don't like chinapek way of doing stuff.. by working in a chinapek company i got myself burned sometimes..cant help, cant vent, cant do anything much about, not till i leave the company..you know why i cant leave if you know me well. =sigh=

we are going to handover the management of one of the property project now. and this group of ppl include a very-free-till-nothing-to-do unit trust freelance pasar auntie, a so called very-bad-temper IT specialist of one of the foreign bank, a I-VERY-FAMILIAR-WITH STATA TITLE ACT-NOT-PRO-AT-ALL land surveyor.

i thought the handover would be smooth and we would not in chaos like previous project. Well, i think too high for those ppl.

the not-pro-at-all land surveyor starts to act like very pro, teach the pasar auntie and the bad temper IT specialist to do this and that somewhat according to this Acts, that Acts.. (my foot!!!!!!)

so they request this request that, want to act like bosses,already act like bosses actually.

we are trying our best to help them while protecting our information and answer to their stupid questions. but they have an idea that we are trying to bully them (somewhat!)

after management discussion, in order to protect our system & information, we decided to take back our system yesterday. i was the one who went there and took it back.

so this morning, when they report to the office (yes they do. because they want to check on staff), they found out that the system no longer there. they made a big fuss about it. and started to act like barbarian.

they threatened to say that they wanted to report police saying that i took/stole (whatever word it can be) their information, said that they wanted to sue me, blah blah blah..

personally, i dont care. i really dont. if they make a police report, i will have my company solicitor to work out for me and i will sue back them for sure. so when kelvin called, i told him it's okay if they really wanted to report police, because i am not afraid at all. what they wanted to report?? saying i took my company property which do not belong to these 3 idiots?? Fxxx off

kelvin is the one who felt bad that dragged me into this personal attack.

ended up, kel agreed to take back the system just for show because they cant copy or use the system at all. this software licence is under my company, not the 3 idiots group of ppl.

i really have no idea that how come the IT SPECIALIST does not know what you need to PAY for software licence. still called himself IT Specialist (yes he did say that he is an IT SPECIALIST!that;s how he intro himself)

what really pissed me off was that they came to my office to handover a document to me. they even verbally threaten me that if i dont give them back the system, he will make a report and i will stay in jail for 1 or 2 nights.

damn it! he said that to me in my office. i really got very pissed. came to my office and insulted me. bloody hell!!
HE HAS NO IDEA THAT THE SOFTWARE DOESNT BELONG TO THEM!!

seriously if this happen one more time, i make sure i report police first!

bloody hell!!! I AM PISSED!

they know they cant talk to me.. because the surveyor has yet to win me for any discussion so far!
he likes to say " you are technically right" Actually, i m "professionally and legally right" =p

well, karma will bite them. just wait and see. i will make sure they will have their monkey show soon!

soon, it's christmas again. suddenly, i feel so down =(

december again; year end again;christmas soon;year is ending so. yet, a NEW year to come.

suddenly nothing much to expect about..nothing more to think about..m thinking "20++ years, what's more?"

i know i have so many things yet to do.. but thinking about future, my heart sinks.. future seems hopeless to me..

i am not afraid of changes, i am looking for changes.. i have something i want to do for the coming year. most probably something that change my life totally.

but, i am worried now.

worrying about what will happen to people next to me of my selfishness..

my bad experiences at PIZZA HUT

i NEVER have good dining experience with Pizza Hut at Malaysia, both dine-in and delivery. those experiences are so bad that i regret everytime, NEVER FAIL. they are pretty good at disappointing customers, never fail for doing so.

even before i know what is pizza, i could sing the pizza hut delivery advertisement theme song. it's so easy to remember and it's so popular. from old to young, from tv to radio and newspaper, "2353535 pizza hut delivery.." (ps: this is for sg. and the no has changed) Do you still remember this?? i do. and i thought wanna eat pizza, must sure be PIZZA HUT.

No matter what, pizza hut at shopping complex is always full. even there would be queue outside.

the service is so bad tat usually you have to wait for a very long time and you will never have you want fine, it's busy. everybody is busy!

however, the service has not improved even for those quiet outlets.

yesterday was not a good time for me just to look for my lunch. i spent almost 1 hour to look for a place to eat. frm old klang road -> OUG -> brickfields -> kuchai lama PIZZA HUT.

this Kuchai Lama Pizza Hut is always quiet, always just few tables are occupied. (i know because sometimes i drive through next door KFC to take away).

it took the waitress 5m to get me the menu and waited ,waited. calls for several times and nobody came to take my order. my hand has raised up several times and they knew it. but they pushed around so that ANY ONE could take my order. still, i waited , waited till i walked to the counter and told the girl that i want to order. she asked me to go back to my table AGAIN and refused to take my order immediately. (FINE!)

once the waiter took my orders, i went straight to KFC and got myself some popcorn chicken & cheezy wedges.

don't mention about the waiting time for the food to come. we were lucky because we got our soup , our drink and our starter, garlic bread, together. (actually garlic bread came first, yes it was)

once i finished my pizza, i went straight to counter to pay because i really didn't want to waste my time again. the girl took my credit card and ran to another counter at the back without informing anything to me. i was shocked and i told another girl that SHE TOOK MY CREDIT CARD.. she was blur for a second (i think she didn't understand for what i just said "she took my credit card" i repeated myself in malay again) and she just told me that the machine at this counter was not functioning.

WATLAU eh! say earlier if you prefer customer to pay cash instead. don't run away with customer's credit card without saying anything!!

and again, I THINK I WILL BAN PIZZA HUT FOR A WHILE!! the more i visit pizza hut, the more disappointments i have.

it was 3.30pm when i done my lunch, 2 & 1/2 hours!!

Lesson of the day:
1. DO NOT GO TO EAT AT PIZZA HUT (literally BAN PIZZA HUT, BAN BAN BAN!)
2. PLAN BEFORE YOU DECIDE WHERE TO GO FOR FOOD DURING RAINING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (if not you may stuck in the jam and the restaurants are not opened)

PIZZA HUT IS SO GOOD THAT NEVER FAIL TO DISAPPOINT ME, NEVER!

jlpt 4

i've never been placed in the first during an exam. and i had mine today.

i took JLPT 4 today afternoon at UPM KL. most of my classmates and i were in the same test room, i thought i would be behind Eilaine.. manatau.. i m the first in the row..

not so get used to face the tutorial roon blackboard during the exam. i only saw exam time and nothing else. wao.. the feeling not so good.. i really not get used to be the first row in class. usually i would choose at the back because you got more freedom to do what you want to do sometimes. of course, in return, you dont get to pay 100% attention to what happen at the back. =p

it is such a long hours exam. from 2pm-6.30pm. we are instructed to be ready in class by 2pm and 1 hour of briefing and waiting time. it's only 25m to end the first paper.

break hour for another 45m. paper 2 for 25m. this paper is the fastest to finish but the hardest to do. you have no time to even think what the previous question and topic. the exam ended when the tape is ended. very scaring actually. you have to pay full attention to what is the question ,the conversation and choose the answer. sorry ah. no time to think if you even miss any single word. you are requested to answer IMMEDIATELY, literally immediately!

i was quite hungry when i done with my paper 2.

another 30m of wait and another 40m to finish paper 3.

that's all! from 2PM-630PM..

whatever it is.. the simplest JLPT 4 exam is over. and more to come!! will sleep and play hard for tomorrow public holiday!

i've visited the website. and it's fun and educational(somewhat, but not all i would say)

i bought a writing table

i went to mid valley again. it's just because it's near and i can get whatever i want (most of the time) even though there are many car parks.. it's still hard to find car park sometimes.

i bought a normal writing table, which costs me RM49.90 ( this the cheaper i can find actually.) carrefour is selling RM68; and i think i m lucky to find this price at jusco for the special discount price.

i feel like i m going back to my school life (secondary school life) because there was a time when my mum purposely asked my uncle to custom made 4 study table for us. my uncle is a good carpenter, because all the 4 tables still in very good condition after 10+ years. there was the 4-6 years i had a proper table to do read, to write , to keep stuff.

during my days at uni, i didn't have a table. the dining table downstair was my study table during my exam time.(luckily my uncle's house has 2 dining tables, 1 for dining; 1 for study). all cousins and me sharing the round marble table if we wanted to do our homework.

that was those days...

hopefully i can fully utilise the table i bought today.. at least not only to put my rubbish =p

ps: but why WRITING TABLE?? nowadays, only students will bought this kind of table..and seriously i think it is not cheap at all

Many people see yoga as a way to maintain their health

Millions of people in Malaysia have been banned from doing yoga because of fears it could corrupt Muslims.

The Islamic authorities have issued a ruling, known as a fatwa, instructing the country's Muslims to avoid yoga because of its Hindu roots.

To most people yoga is simply a sport - a stress-busting start to the day.

Malaysia's National Fatwa Council said it goes further than that and that elements of the Indian religion are inherent in yoga.

Announcing the decision, the council chairman Abdul Shukor Husin said practices like chanting and what he called worshipping were inappropriate and they could "destroy the faith of a Muslim".

The ruling is not legally binding but many of Malaysia's Muslims abide by fatwas.

Yoga classes here are filled with mostly non-Muslim Malaysians of Chinese or Indian descent, but in the major cities it is not uncommon to see several Muslim women at classes.

Prayers and gym

For Muslims across Malaysia the day starts at 5.30 in the morning, as the call to prayer goes out.

A handful of the most devout arrive at a mosque in the western outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.

Over the other side of the road, in the shadow of the Mosque's golden dome, a few others start arriving to start their day - at the gym.

Each is carrying a yoga mat, slung over their shoulder.

Adam Junid is a Muslim Malaysian who does both - prayers and gym, specifically yoga.

An engineer in his 30s, he goes to a weekly class for about 30 people.

"I don't think it interferes with the religion at all," he says.

"In fact it helps you, makes you healthy and more aligned and it helps you become self aware," he adds.

Adam is a rarity because it is mostly women and not many Muslims who do this.

"The yoga masters repeat that it actually can be quite compatible with religion," he said. "It makes you a better person."

Yoga comes in many forms. For some it is a stress-busting sport. For others a serious bit of soul searching.

What Adam does once a week is the serious stuff. The class I sat in on was two hours long.

Spiritual experience

It included breathing exercises, with the help of the tick-tock of a metronome.

There was meditation, then half an hour of darkness for intense relaxation.

Before that some of the class managed a very stable headstand. Others could touch the back of their head with their foot.

"It can go with any religion," instructor Mani Sekaran told me.

"Or it can go with those who don't believe in any religion, because it's purely sports," he added.

He is also founder of the Malaysian Yoga Society. A bald and very fit man, he once did martial arts.

"If I want to train for an Olympic gold medal... whether I believe in a religion or not doesn't matter. I just keep on training."

"Based on that we can use yoga to enhance whatever we are doing, whether it is religion or whether it's spirituality... but it [yoga] is stand alone."

During the class I sat in on, yoga's Hindu roots were mentioned, albeit briefly. A spiritual experience was on offer for those who wanted it.

This is the point where some Muslims in Malaysia worry about yoga. They think it is encroaching on their way of life.

One Muslim student told me that she combined yoga techniques with prayers. That concerns some Islamic experts.

"If people want to practice yoga, the physical exercise, I think that is no problem," Professor Osman Bakar, from Malaysia's Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies, told me.

"Many Muslims would say fine. But they would object to the mixing of the two things."

"Islam is a complete way of life. Islam is able to cater to the needs of Muslims; spiritual needs, intellectual needs and other needs, material needs. So there is no need to bring in elements from outside," he added.

Adam's yoga class ended with a quick discussion about self-awareness, concentration and why people do yoga. I was not sure if this was a weekly occurrence or for my benefit.

He told me that yoga has made him a better person. He has no plans to stop.

today...

today is quite a tired day even though my colleagues and i seemed to be relax at the mines golf resort..

first, we lost our way to the mines. from the office to the mines took us 40minutes. loonggg

second, things supposed to be done have yet to be done. (loonngg story)the golf candidates list supposed to be done by the chairperson secretary (because she said she would do it) not yet done.. (apparently, in spite she is the main in-charge, she doesn't do Anything and act blur & stupid!)

third, we had to wait for the locker list to be ready then we distributed the goodies bag. guess we waited till what time?? well, it's long enough that we decided to enjoy our lunch at the coffee house and took our time enjoy the greeny and lake view of the mines.

the golf coordinator, jo, did help us to done the list before 5pm. if not, we would think that we have to go there early morning to arrange the goodies bag (like 4am??)

carrying the goodies bag is tiring! each of us took about 10+ bag in hand.. suddenly i felt like i m the assistant of fashion show events who in charge of bags (=p) Girl Power!

tomorrow will be an early morning for me.. tee-off time usually very early morning.. i will have to be at the mines at 5.30am.. and i suppose to sleep now

i still have no idea what to wear tomorrow for the fashion show.. but i do not think it really matter.. =p

ps: office politics.. sometimes i really think that it's your luck to work good people!

i can not really said that studying is always better than working. it's depend.

people thinks it's better and simple just because students will get monthly allowance from parents every month. without any worries. sometimes, can even ask for more. it's money we receive without any contributions.

the only bad thing can be just that "they always just give little. where got enough"

well, they do not understand that.. this situation remains the same even when you are working.

for working adults, the salary is the monthly money from hard work, for what you have contributed to the company, sitting in front of computer (provided that you use computer in the office), listening calls from unreasonable customers, got instructions and just followed the order.. no matter what kind of jobs you are doing, salary is what people survive with when they cant get monthly allowance from parents.

people works, because money can buy things that was dreamed of, and desparetely wanted without asking for money from parent and listen to their nags. sound good huh? but it wont stop here.

people asks for more and more... and money never be enough!

we seek for better and more and more.. because we have desires.

wondering if there will be a day that i think i have enough money for everything but not something.. at least i know i am definitely will be in the "NOT ENOUGH" group.

2 illegal workers (=p)

out of surprises.. my cousin, Wei, followed my uncle to office this morning, dress in shirt (but not formal , with jean dropped to bottock , and half arm-length shirt =p)

he was here to work, part time and only for today at HQ office. he will be back to another office tomorrow. he works as data entry which allow him to online while doing data entry.

when i went to acc dept to look for him, then i know that another cousin, Qi, is also working part time as well. Qi will be based at HQ, acc dept to assist another acc girl. he was sorting receipts then.

they kept complaining that working in office , sorting receipts , billings damn boring. Qi complained that the acc girl non stop passing job for him to do. well, i told them "of course, you are working leh" (something that i didnt tell him is work as account personnel is that boring somewhat =p)

for their first job in their life, i treated them lunch.

they keep asking if they can change to another job like working in warehouse that only requests physical energy rather than using their mind =p

well, KIDS NOWADAYS! =p

btw, they are somewhat underage.. even though their physical body is big enough =p

2 car accidents in a month..

i just knocked my car..it was just an accident. (well, i believe that people will not knock the car purposely, unless for some reasons which i dont know)

it's fortunate enough that nobody is hurt,just had a shock..

it happened when i was at the tmn connaught, mcd juction. i was on my way back.. it rained..and both of the car drivers could not see others. if not i believe either of us would stop the car if possible..

the front is the serious part. the light came out, the bumper went out, the front broke(crack to say out), the cover came out..

i have no idea how much i m going to pay now..

it is the 2nd accidents in a month.. what's more?? touch wood!

i have Rits Cheese now.. to have cheese make me feel slightly better..

i am not going to curse; i m not going to angry; just sigh.. and hope that nothing more serious will happen again..

sister is in hospital 13/10/2008

yen had her ever first operation yesterday for her nose problem..and fortunately, the operation is a successful one.

she has been suffering for a long long time, since small actually. dad brought her here and there for all kind of treatments, traditional one and western med treatments.. i even remember that dad brought her to one of those chinese traditional household treatment that she breathed in some kind of air and supposedly there would be some kind insects (called it insects because i really have no idea what specis or name that is) coming out from the nose. Weird? well, it's always alternative treatments available around.. no matter how advance the modern med technology is, people still seek for alternative treatments.

if you ask me if i do believe on alternative treatments, yes but not fully.

called mum yesterday that the operation took 2 hours and 30 minutes. it was long. she and chean were patiently waiting outside the operation ward and worried as well.

Dad was in layang yesterday during the operation time. He travelled from layang to jb to visit her after work. he took public transport. people who know where i come from will know that how kampung my kampung is.. he had to ask someone to fetch him to the main road which is 20km away and took public transport, bus to the johor bahru bus station and took taxi..

tried to call just now.. but mum didnt pick up..they should be in the hospital with yen. doctor said she can be discharged by tomorrow, wednesday.

hope she is doing good..

i know that you are happy that miyabi is back today. and you feel bad that if the workshop ppl will have to wait for you to close the shop..

you called during lunch time when i was at leisure mall with colleague and i ready made my order. it was 1.30pm. for your information, my lunch time from 1pm-2pm. Im sorry that i rejected your offer and wanted you to come to fetch me after work instead. because i do need to work.. i m sorry that my work is not as flexible as you thought it is and too bad that we are not the same boss too that allow you to leave and go any time you want..you just got pissed because i didnt come down earlier so that you can reach there earlier to collect my car.. then i m sorry because i am totally pissed off because of the reason that pissed you off.

if you forget that i still need to work.. then let me remind you again, i do need to work especially during office hours.

you are the one who say i should not take my work / working hour for granted.. but you want me to disappear for 1-2 hours because you dont want the workshop ppl to wait when the workshop only closes at 6?? ?? ??

i am pissed!

my experience to ffnnnn regarding the bitter milk -Dont Buy Bloated Fresh Milk

today, i wrote a letter to ffnnnn regarding the bitter fresh milk that i had.

firstly, i was impressed with the forum section they have to share recipes. well, you have to log in to become a member first. if you thought that you would be able to post your own recipes, dream on. they only available for "VIEW".

for any inquiries, you have to fill-in the "Contact Us". my letter is just a simple letter to ask them if it's normal for them to receive complaints regarding Bitter Milk and show my disappointments.

Well, i would say, the customer service is fast! within a hour, i received email reply from them to ask me regarding the bitter milk and asked for my contact number ( i think it's fair enough for vertification purposes.)

later on i received call from the customer service officer (let's call her Ms Ng). she explained to me that the super market does not have a good fridge which can maintain the freshness of the fresh milk. that's why the fresh milk is bitter ( ?? ?? then????) and sour. actually, sour i can understand but bitterness i dont.

the advice from this pro is that DO NOT BUY PACKS THAT ALREADY BLOATED. if you buy, then please finish within 2 days. ( but mine was newly open)

later on, Ms Ng requested for my information. and the conversation just ended with my personal information.

There is no other information she provided or whatsoever.

if this happen at other countiries, i think this ffnnnn will have a very hard time because they most probably receive sue cases from the public regarding this. At Malaysia, who cares!

i wonder if there is any more following-ups forn the case. Malaysia customer service yet to reach another proactive level, more improvement to go.. just that..

i doubt it.

Bitter Fresh Milk

have you ever tried bitter fresh milk?? yes, i mean bitter which literally just mean bitter.

the bottle of milk which bought few days ago from the nearby market. it's stated clearly that it has yet to reach the expiry date. and it havent been opened yet. the expiry date stated clearly as 09102008;today only 04102008.

i mixed the cereals with the milk, had a bite of it.. i thought my taste bud got problem too. IT IS BITTER MILK!

damn!

i have no idea how this Fresh milk turns into Bitter Milk..

if i had food poisoning, then i will know what happen to me. and i will definitely bring the bag of cereals+ milk with me to the hospital. (touch wood! touch wood!)

i dont think i will buy this brand anymore. i used to drink this brand quite alot last time.. =(

one day trip to bukit tinggi. the happy one and the sad one 02102008

for the very first time we decided to go for a One day trip to Bukit Tinggi for breakfast/lunch and Coffee at genting.

we woke up on time and the journey to Bukit Tinggi, Berjaya Hills Resort  was fun. we didnt do any research on it just because both of us went to that place before. we actually lost of way there and ended up to this bukit tinggi kampung. apparently, bukit tinggi just means bukit tinggi kampung. Berjaya Hills Resort is what we called French Village.

we reached bukit tinggi ard 1. it was crowded with holidays crowd. it doesnt change much since my last visits years ago. the geese still there, the restaurants, the swimming pools, the hotels & etc.  it's hot there. so i would say rather good weather. the hotel reception was full of people who wanted to check in. at least the ladies was crowded.

th his group of friends who drive 2 doors race cars (they were so noisy and kept showing off their cars like horning & etc. 煩い！and they are just normal ppl.. . well whoever drives 2-doors race car doesnt mean to be beautiful guys like anime)

wanted to have simple lunch for pizza and spag. it was so full. wanted to try another restaurants for simple set meal, no tables available and it's just understand the sun. ended up, we chose the proper fine dining. 

the food was good! we ordered seafood for our mountain trip =p it was raining while we were enjoying our tasty lunch.

we left shortly after our lunch to head genting for our coffee. it was 3 plus. the road was wet after rained. 

on the way down, our car lost balance, slipped and hit the side bar. the tayars were gone that we couldn't continue the journey. we had to stop and 

called for help. after many calls, the insurance co managed to arrange a tow services from kl to bukit tinggi for a costs of RM350. 

we had no choice but wait for rescue.. 

there was nothing much for us to do. cars were going up and down. we played psp, ate junk food, on-off aircon, down the cars to see ants, took pictures and waited.. when natural called, we answered.. it was so awkward  well, we nurture back the natural =p

ard 6, the tow car finally came. hurray! all the way back to kl. and 

we could not decide whether we should c

laim the insurance or not. we towed the car back to the garage that jason usually goes.  the kelvin guy actually drove us back to tmn desa. (thank you)

once reached home, we decided to order pizza for our dinner. and i enjoyed my hot shower..

it was 9 plus. good food and such an expensive coffee that we yet to enjoy =( we are lucky that we are not hurt even though the car is seriously damaged.

such an unforgettable holiday.. oh , my road trip to bukit tinggi..

ps: you know what.. the car plate actually won the Special Price on Toto on 011008 which is before the trip and before the incident. well, we dont buy anyway =(

my first day of raya holidays 01102008

i had a happy but sad holidays for the past 2 days holidays..

i spent my first day with my parents who came here to visit grandmum before she left to china(she left to china yesterday). dad just loves to sit at the garden while i was bathing for skeaper. no matter how many times they called him for lunch, he just ignored and took full concentration to read the ABK booklets. mum said he just paise to sit together with yee's new gf(who is also my utar junior even though different faculty =p)

besides, i had my first time visit to open house to my malay-chinese mixed classmate. his house was so crowded with friends and relatives. the surprise to know that all the relatives dressed up with traditional malay style clothes (young, old, man & women). and had enjoy malay n western food. at least got ketupat, satay sauce, rendang for malay style food and mac n cheese, inari sushi too. well, everybody just enjoy watching japanese tv programs. (ya, the whole family quite into japanese style!) Eileen was with me too. 

later on, i went to s.wang together with jason , al and his lovely girls. they went to buy Wii n Keyboard (music type) for the girls. the two little girls are so cute. so envy they can play piano.. girls like me who lack of music sense can only listen , cant play >_<

well, i didnt buy anything that day okay.
